I'm Gavin, the Co-founder and COO of MetaGrail. I‘ve been bullish on cryptocurrencies since very early days.
With the popularity of NFTs, there have been numerous NFT projects outside the circle, and many traditional companies have joined the NFT and metaverse field. With MetaGrail, we hope to build SocialFi into a very important part of Web3, and strive to realize the broad vision that Web3 brings to everyone.

Q1. Start with simple question.
Could you provide a simple description MetaGrail for our community? What the motivation for starting build MetaGrail?

MetaGrail is a decentralized social protocol that studies the standards for generating meta-social networks. Our vision is achieved by developing an open social protocol standard based on blockchain technology, building an integrated and interoperable social protocol matrix, and forming a standardized and universal social protocol to serve decentralized social networks.
On one hand, MetaGrail creates the ownership economy of NFT by attaching identity recognition and social trajectory to NFTs, and through a unique social token issuance model.
On the other hand, MetaGrail’s mission is to improve the decentralized social ecosystem by taking sociality as a breakthrough point. It not only encourages the co-creation and sharing of social content, but also subverts the traditional social-economic model, monetizes social influence, and provides a wide range of applications and prospects for the SocialFi field.
The MetaGrail team embraces and encourages the concept of win-win, widely accepts mainstream DApps (Decentralized application) in the market to incorporate into its social protocol, provides consensus-based decentralized social protocol infrastructure, and works with all parties to build a shared social ecosystem that is more suitable for decentralization, and accelerates the value migration process. Using the non-tamperable, transparent, and traceable characteristics of the blockchain, a more complete and self-consistent free economic model and social metaverse are established.

Q2. What are the Business Objectives, Market and Target audience of MetaGrail?
Gavin Nation:
Realizing the goal of MetaGrail token autonomy is the team's long-term pursuit and goal. There are many model parameters in the MetaGrail network. How to adjust these model parameters at different stages to encourage different roles in the network is crucial to the promotion of decentralized social development.
In order to realize the ambitious scene of the decentralized social ecology and the decentralized governance of the entire project, MetaGrail is governed by DAO, and all stakeholders can directly participate in the governance of the project.
MetaGrail DAO will be launched within a certain period of time after the protocol goes live. On this decentralized governance platform, any community member can initiate a proposal, propose a project development path, or modify and update related model parameters, and attach a proposal description with voting end time.
The promoters then need to push community members to vote on their proposals. Before the voting ends, when a certain voting rate and approval ratio are reached, the proposal is deemed to be passed. In order to prevent useless proposals on the DAOplatform, a certain amount of Grail token is required to be locked for the initiation of each proposal, and only will be returned while reaching a certain voting rate, otherwise the locked tokens will be burned when the voting ends.
In the long-term plan, we hope to make each "Event" and even the group into a DAO. MetaGrail will promote and stimulate each "Event" and group Dao with Grail tokens. We look forward to the existence of MetaGrail DAO and Group Dao, which can make the community more united and the ecological expansion smoother.

Q3. Can you explain about MetaGrail ($GRAIL) Token usecase ?

NFT continues to show that there is plenty of room for hype. On the one hand, creators integrate encryption gameplay into their works to promote blockchain culture with various art forms and techniques; On the other hand, technologies like NFT also carry representational functions such as a social display. NFT's value of differentiation and diversity of entertainment is being more and more reflected.
As for the MetaGrail use cases, there are plenty of examples:
1) NFT + social mining is trending
In MetaGrail, users participate in social mining are rewarded with GRAIL tokens.
In the first phase of the product launch, users can use the GRAIL tokens to participate in a social activity called a "Cheers" or a check-in activity related to an interest. Users will be incentivized by the social action of clinking glasses. Or the user with NFT can participate in the check-in activities of the interest group tag, and the user with NFT can get the corresponding bonus coefficient. Social behavior creation can create a steady stream of social revenue for users.
On MetaGrail, users can purchase MetaGrail NFT images, each of which is an NFT token. What makes it special is that each NFT has different opportunities for social behavior every day, and the value behind it grows steadily over time.
2) NFT + game /VR scenarios
Currently, MetaGrail is built on BSC and combines VR+NFT gameplay. In the future, users will be free to display their MetaGrail NFT in the metaverse scenarios of their choice. MetaGrail NFT can be displayed as artwork or art avatars in other metaverse projects, either as artwork or as a game setting. In the future, MetaGrail will be able to render MetaGrail freely and animate it by creating 3D models, which can be displayed and used in any metaverse or VR scene.
At the same time, as the number of MetaGrail partners increases, there will be additional attribute bonuses or financial incentives for participating in "chain game" scenarios with MetaGrail NFT holders.
3) The uniqueness of NFTs have their show-off attributes and value
One of MetaGrail's groundbreaking aspects is that it creates value not just in the scarcity of NFT, but also in the social behavior of its NFT holders. MetaGrail NFT itself creates different scarcity levels through serial numbers and constellations and materials.
Meanwhile, MetaGrail can form social tracks attached to NFT through its cooperative metaverse social scenes or self-made social behaviors. For example, if a MetaGrail NFT holder participates in an Avril Lavigne concert in a meta-cosmic setting, this social behavior can be displayed as a tag on his/her NFT.

The first phase of MetaGrail's roadmap has been developed and is currently in internal testing. If this process goes well, it is expected that support for social behavior incentives will be up and running by March.
also, our first round of sales has been accomplished on the Binance NFT market. 1,111 Grails were sold in a very short period of time, which really exceeded our expectations Group

What drawbacks do decentralized social networks currently have and why do they need to be improved?

The drawbacks are:
- Decentralized networks cost much more. The transaction - costs are simply much higher.
The operators who participate need an incentive system, for example, to make their computing power, etc.

Secondly, we have been working hard towards legal compliance. MetaGrail has established a group of British Virgin and legally compliant companies to operate and develop the project, with autonomy and effective oversight based on foundation management to maximize the trust and support of the local government.
Last but not least, the $GRAIL tokenomics are designed for long-term holding and value capturing. Which I believe is the ultimate motivation and incentive for the project’s development and prosperity.

Q5. What difficulties have been encountered during the development of MetaGrail?

Technical parts were our biggest headache at the beginning of the development. Namely, we wanted to:
1. Improve scalability while ensuring security and decentralization.
2. Achieve seamless cross-chain transactions for the quality of user experience (QoE).
3. Provide customers with simple account management.
4. Open standards to support various Dapps.
5. Build an incentive-driven ecosystem.
Luckily our dev team found the right solution to this and therefore MetaGrail was born.
Later on, how to sell the MetaGrail NFTs was the challenge we were faced with. The market team made great efforts to find the right marketplaces and the great news was we managed to make it to the Binance NFT marketplace and the sales went great! Second sales coming soon! Please stay tuned 👀👀
